Stocks Extend Rally
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite both ended the week broadly higher, posting fresh all-time highs even as investors kept a wary eye on the renamed COVID-19 coronavirus. Wall Street instead embraced solid economic data and better-than-expected earnings reports.
For the week, the Dow Industrials rose 1.02%, the S&P 500 gained 1.65%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite advanced 2.23%.
